sobuz.st reimagines classic Disney princess gowns

A couple of weeks ago, we featured several dress designs from Bangladeshi fashion school student @sobuz.st. Some of the dress silhouettes reminded us of the elegance of Disney princesses and we asked if he would try his hand at reimagining some classic gowns.

Here, he nearly redesigns The Little Mermaid, or Ariel’s outfit, but retained several fishy characteristics like the tail at the end of the dress, and a trail of scales:

 

Elsa, the star of the recent hit Frozen, gets a redesign that does away with her icy cape, but sports a new regal sash around her hips:

Cinderella gets a slightly modified look, with the classic puffed sleeves on the redesign and an additional fringe falling from the waist, enhancing the size of her 18th Century European skirt.
