Real men draw dresses

We love to see people sharing their authentic passions on migme, which is why we went a bit crazy over @sobuz.st‘s fashion designs. @sobuz.st is a 22-year-old fashion design student at Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has varied interests, such as a fascination with UFOs and other supernatural phenomena. But it’s his uninhibited love of dresses that we think is great. Here are a few of his designs:

For him, dress design should be about the person wearing it and everything they represent.
“I see girls, not to check them out, like others – just to understand their dress and body structure,” he says.
“Their get-up, attitude, behavior will be the base to create a dress that will be loved by them.”
In this regard, Canadian pop singer Avril Lavigne is a great example of a person whose individual personality comes out in the clothes she wears.
“She is  just awesome – she always likes to wear those products that are ready-to-wear and fashionable. You can call them streetwear, mostly,” he says.

And he is not discouraged by men that think that fashion design is a feminine pursuit.
“Many of them think about it this way,” he says “but the fashion world is a big world.”

At the end of the day, which man doesn’t want a new set of clothes, if not for himself then for someone else?
“‘Please design a blazer for me!’ They are excited, always,” he says. “Some have asked to design for their future wife.”
